It was quite ideal to have this engagement session at Turner Field since Jesse is a professional softball player. With both Hannah and Jesse wearing his jersey, we walked around Turner Field and captured some very unique and candid photos of them. It was seriously the best baseball / photoshoot weather and it could not have gone anymore perfect. I have to give it to those ushers at Turner Field, they manage their sections and you have do some sweet talking to get down and take photos completely away from where your ticket says you are suppose to be sitting :) Hannah and Jesse’s wedding will be taking place in just over a month and we wish them all the love and luck in the world. The Braves won 7-0, guess we brought them some good luck!

Graceology Photography announces: Graceology Studios

We are proud to announce that Graceology Photography is officially a studio as well as on location photographers. Graceology Studios will primarily be used for newborns, toddlers, children and maternity. We have converted the back half of our house which is all glass and faces south which makes for the perfect natural light all day long into the most ideal studio. Complete with backdrops, couches, props, lighting, iMac workstation, tethered cameras for live client viewing and more! Our goal for this is to offer our clients an alternative to our outdoor, on location photography. Also available in our arsenal is a plethora of toys, music, and more to make babies and children get that perfect smile for us. Pricing details for Graceology Studios will be available later this afternoon and will be posted on here once they go live. Our first 2 sessions will also be posted here this afternoon for the public to see. Heidi | Gary | 5.12.12 | Georgia Aquarium Wedding

Heidi and Gary had their beautiful wedding at the ultra picturesque, Georgia Aquarium. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, they had they ceremony in the Tropical Diver room surrounded by the most beautiful backdrop and tropical fish. Georgia Aquarium wedding photography is actually a rather difficult task, but when done correctly, it produces some of the most beautiful photos and backdrops ever. Lethal Rhythms provided the entertainment throughout the night that kept the guests going until after midnight! We wish Heidi and Gary the best, thank you for having us document the most important day of your life.

Lydia | Ben | Atlantic Station Engagement Session | 5.9.12

We went out on this beautiful, but extremely windy evening after a monsoon earlier in the day. Lydia and Ben were rocking the dance floor at a wedding we photographed last year and here we are today shooting their engagement session. This session was so much fun that I am seriously contemplating on whether to do a separate album with just outtakes, they are hilarious. They are packing up and moving to Delaware next week and we wish them the best. The good part is that we are in talks about shooting their wedding next April that is taking place on a boat! Want to get the biggest smile out of this couple? Tell them to make a serious face :)

We headed out this morning to go photograph baby Caroline. She was born about 6 weeks premature and is now a healthy 8 weeks old and as beautiful as can be. She was the perfect little model for me today, a little rocking, a little feeding, and some TLC kept the tears away and allowed me to capture these precious memories for Emily and Blake. The dogs also got in on the action and posed for some photos as well! Congratulations Blake and Emily, we can’t wait to photograph her first year…and beyond :)

I met Lucy and Josh at a wedding we shot in April and couldn’t wait for their engagement session. I made the trip east to Lake Oconee, which we have photographed at more than Atlanta it seems. If you have never been to Lake Oconee, do yourself a favor and get our there and visit. Lucy and Joshua had their session at the Oconee golf course the photos turned out amazing. I am experimenting with new angles and black and white processing which I think it working quite well. Love the old, rustic look of the black and whites. THE PERFECT SESSION. Everything about this session was spot on perfect. The weather, temp, location, and the FAMILY. We shot for an hour and it seemed like 10 minutes. Photographing in this location in Peachtree City is hardly work at all. This location is a hidden gem literally hidden 200 yards from the biggest shopping area in Peachtree City. Ashlyn and Abby were the perfect little models and their smiles made some truley beautiful photos. I even got to take a quick break and let the aspiring photographer, Ashlyn, capture a few shots of her sister in the water! Thank you to the Cole family for letting me capture these moments for you. I hope this is the first of many photoshoots with this family! Happy 11th Birthday Ashlyn!
