I have traveled all over this beautiful world and there was always one city that stood out from the others and that is Prague, Czech Republic. Now, after my first visit to Charleston this weekend, I can honestly say there are now 2 cities that stand out among the rest. Charleston, South Carolina is by far the most beautiful city in the south (Sorry Atlanta and Savannah, but it’s true!) The detail that is in Charleston is something straight from the streets of Paris. Rachel and James invited me out to photograph their engagement session and it was one of my favorite sessions of all time. The love that is between Rachel and James is so pure and honest that it makes my job so SIMPLE. Rachel and James effortlessly fall into place for me to get the perfect photos of them. Although the weather did not cooperate with us for one of the days, we managed to make the best of it with a few rain and umbrella photos. We ended the night at at bar that George Washington was in back in the late 1700′s! The locations on this shoot included: The Battery, Legare Waring House, Avenue Of The Oaks, Seabrook Island, McCrady’s, Chalmer’s St, The French Quarter, and other little alleys and side streets. We cannot wait to photograph their wedding taking place at the ultra gorgeous, William Aiken House. To make a long story short: Rachel and James are the perfect couple, Charleston is the perfect city, and I do believe that this was the perfect engagement session.
